Hi. My name is Carolyn Pampino and this is my blog. I consider myself a health and fitness advocate but not yet a zealot..though many of you may dispute that claim.
I decided to create this blog because I recently woke up from a long a lazy dream about how my health and fitness levels were just fine for a woman my age. Like so many others, I had steadily gained weight year after year. For a while this seemed normal and I accepted it. Then one day I woke up. The decision to reverse the trend hit me like a bolt of lightning, and in the last several years I’ve managed to drop 20 pounds and keep it off. I’m a heck of a lot happier for it!
I don’t believe in dieting. I don’t believe in starvation. I don’t believe in excessive anything. I do believe in general principles that help you replace illness with wellness. I do believe in the positive effects that subtle changes can bring. I believe that you too can live a healthier life and in doing so will find a happier you.
